SCRIP

Scrip is a gift card fundraising program that helps to raise funds to support Peace Lutheran School. Below are some of the features and highlights of the program.

50% of money earned will go toward a Family Credit Account (FCA)

50% of money earned will go toward a School Fund which is used for, but not limited to, tuition assistance.

FCA will begin July 1 and end June 30.

Amounts accrued from July 1 through December 31 will go toward the re-enrollment fee.

Amounts accrued from January 1 through June 30 will be refunded to you in the form of a check on Registration Day in August.

If at any time a family chooses to not re-enroll, the money accrued in their FCA will become property of Peace Lutheran School, not the family.

Preschool families are encouraged to participate in Scrip. The money accrued in their FCA will be applied to registration fees for 4-Year Old Preschool and Kindergarten.

Families with an 8th grade student will be allowed to use the money that has accrued from July 1 through April 1 towards offsetting the cost of their Washington, D.C.class trip.

School and non-school familes can desginate their credit to a specific Peace school family. If no family is specified, all monies will go to the Tuition Assistance Fund. No credit refunds will be given.

Scrip purchases are NOT tax deductible.

Returned checks will be charged a $25.00 non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee which will be deducted from your FCA. This NSF fee is determined by the bank.

After two (2) NSF checks, Scrip orderng privileges will be limited to cash (exact amount) or money orders only.

Scrip orders must be turned in to your child's teacher by 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. The order will be ready for pick-up on Friday between 2:30-3:00 p.m. or sent home with the student. In order for Scrip to be sent home with a student, a waiver must be signed by the parent.

Current methods of payment are cash (exact amount), check, or money order. Please make checks payable to Peace Lutheran School Scrip.
